SOUTHPORT is set for another celebration of independent businesses this:- Saturday, 3 October 2026, as the award-winning Independent Street returns to Southport Market with its popular Southport Artisan Market.

The event will bring together a fantastic collection of independent makers, bakers, artists, food producers and small businesses, giving visitors the opportunity to shop locally and discover something a little different.

Alongside the shopping, there will be live music from Jack Hamilton and a FREE children’s arts workshop with Mila, making the market a great day out for the whole family.

Visitors can expect everything from cakes, bakes and artisan food to jewellery, accessories, artwork, handmade gifts, homeware and autumnal treats.

Lisa Cowley, Owner and Founder of Independent Street, said:- “We absolutely love coming to Southport and we’re really looking forward to being back this Saturday. We’ve got another brilliant mix of independent businesses joining us, and that’s what makes these markets so special. Behind every stall is a real person who has created, baked, designed or built something they are incredibly passionate about. We want people to come down, enjoy the live music, let the children get creative at our free workshop, have some delicious food and discover some fantastic independent businesses."
