DERRICK Evans MBE will be joining this year’s Southport Flower Show on Sunday, 23 August 2026.

Derrick Evans MBE, better known as Mr Motivator, is 1 of the UK’s most recognisable and best-loved fitness personalities. Rising to national fame on GMTV in the 1990s, his infectious energy, colourful outfits and empowering approach to movement made him a household name.

With a career spanning more than 3 decades, Derrick has dedicated his life to helping people of all ages and abilities feel healthier, happier and more confident. His work has taken him from television screens and live events to schools, communities, festivals and national wellbeing campaigns, always with the same mission:- to make fitness fun, accessible and uplifting.

Alongside his media and fitness work, Derrick is the founder of Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank, a charity tackling bed poverty and supporting children and families who do not have access to a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

Derrick continues to inspire audiences through his trademark positivity, resilience and belief that it is never too late to move, change and feel good.
