Bike Meet At The Carousel in Southport invites bikers and others to enjoy fundraising night for Queenscourt Hospice

SOUTHPORT is gearing up for an unforgettable evening of bikes, live music, entertainment, food and fundraising as Steve Haw hosts ‘Bike Meet At The Carousel’

The event takes place at:- Silcock’s Carousel / Golden Gallopers on the Promenade, Southport, PR8 1QX between 4pm and 8pm on:- Wednesday, 10 June 2026 in support of Queenscourt Hospice.

The event was postponed from last week due to the weather.

Supported by North West Honda Super Centre, the event promises to transform Southport seafront into a buzzing celebration of the biker community while raising vital funds for the incredible work carried out by Queenscourt Hospice.

Bike lovers, families, locals and visitors are all invited to enjoy a packed evening featuring stunning motorcycles, live performances, magic, food deals and a raffle loaded with prizes donated by generous local businesses and supporters.

Bike Meet At The Carousel has been organised by Steve Haw, the owner of Southport Market Blinds, a former Merseyside firefighter and a former striker for Southport Football Club. 

To make the event even more biker-friendly, extended forecourt parking will be available for motorcycles, giving riders easy and dedicated access throughout the evening.

Highlights of the event include:-

• Incredible bikes from across the North West
• Live music and crowd favourites from Matt Fearon
• Magic and laughs from biker magician Dave Burgess
• A raffle packed with fantastic prizes
• North West Honda Super Centre showcasing bikes and donating branded t-shirts for the raffle
• Great biker food deals from Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant 
• Extended forecourt parking for bikers
• A fun, family-friendly atmosphere on the Promenade 

Steve Haw, organiser, said:- “Please support the forthcoming Queenscourt Bike Meet at Silcock's Funland supported by North West Honda Super Centre. We’re raising funds for Queenscourt Hospice and raising awareness of their amazing work! There’s going to be lots of great bikes, live music with Matt Fearon, great Southport food, magic with biker Dave Burgess and lots of amazing raffle prizes from our fantastic local community.”

Silcock Leisure Group Head of Operations Serena Silcock-Prince said:- “We’re really looking forward to welcoming bikers and others to the Bike Meet at the Carousel. Silcock Leisure Group has been a big supporter of Queenscourt Hospice for many years, including hosting and sponsoring the annual Southport Santa Sprint for the past 15 years, and more besides. It promises to be a superb atmosphere with lots to enjoy, during a great special event organised by Steve Haw with lots of community support.” 

Samantha Nelson, Community & Challenge Events Fundraiser at Queenscourt Hospice, said:- “There is a real sense of excitement building around this event and we look forward to seeing bikers and families come together in support of such an important cause. The biker community consistently shows outstanding generosity when it comes to supporting good causes and this event is another strong example of that spirit. Southport has a fantastic track record of hosting community events and this promises to be a brilliant evening with a truly meaningful cause at its heart.”

Steve is expecting a fantastic turnout, with bikers from across the region coming together to support a charity that means so much to local families. 

The event is designed to celebrate community spirit, bring people together and create a brilliant evening full of entertainment while supporting an important cause.
