FAMILIES are invited to enjoy the 2nd Southport Artisan Market when it returns during Easter weekend. 

The event takes place on:- Saturday, 4 April 2026, between 10am and 4pm, with free entry. 

Southport Artisan Market is a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and local talent — right at the heart of Southport Market.

Discover over 50 independent stalls showcasing the very best in arts, crafts, handmade goods, food, and drink from talented local makers and producers. 

Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts, delicious treats, or something special for yourself, you’ll find it here.

Enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, with performances taking place both inside the market and outside along King Street and on the newly pedestrianised Market Street— creating a buzzing atmosphere perfect for all ages.

The market was launched earlier in March and will take place on the first Saturday of every month throughout the year.

Many of our food stalls sold out and it was a great addition to the already brilliant vendors in Southport Market Hall. Our children’s craft table and face painting proved very popular indeed. Working in collaboration with Southport Market and Sefton Council the award-winning artisan market operator Independent Street is excited to drop anchor on the 1st Saturday of the month.

Southport Artisan Market offers a wide variety of award-winning food, fresh produce, arts and craft and vintage wares … plus live music and free children’s craft activities, with something for everyone. 

Independent Street champions small businesses and provides a platform for local artisans to showcase to their community. 

There are inside and outside trade options available and local artisans are asked to get in touch to showcase.
