What to do when an airline ceases trading and you are scheduled to fly with them?
OVER the weekend Flybe ceased trading and all flights from and to the UK. This has led to many travelers asking what to do when companies go into administration. in response, travel insurance expert at Confused.Com, Jac Morris, has issued this advice:- “Travel disruptions can be frustrating. But when companies go into administration, this can leave travelers feeling confused about how to claim back for a holiday that didn't go to plan. For flights itself, the good news is that all UK passengers have a legal right to claim back for canceled flights. Even if they were non-refundable. However, if the whole holiday has been affected, there may be some extra steps that need to be taken:-
