'High Risk' child rapist being haunted by Lancashire Police

LANCASHIRE Constabulary has issued an urgent appeal to the public with the intention of finding the location of 35 year old, Stephen Pennington, who was jailed in 2009 for the rape of a child.
 
Pennington, 35, was jailed again in 2022 for breaches of a sexual harm prevention order and notification requirements.
 
Currently, this registered sex offender is now wanted after failing to comply with his license conditions and has been recalled to Prison.
 
Pennington is described as:- slim and around 6ft tall. He has short balding dark brown hair.
 
Lancashire Police have said that he is believed to have links to:- Blackburn, Blackpool and Wigan, but he could be anywhere, so they are asking everyone report any possible sightings. 
 
Det Con Stewart Marshall, from the Mosovo (Management of Sexual or Violent Offenders) Team at West Division, said:- "Pennington is a high risk sex offender who presents a real risk to children and women and I would appeal to anyone who sees him or knows where he could be to get in touch."

Police urged people to call:- 999 with any immediate sightings and asked anyone who sees him or knows where he is to contact them on:- 01253604019, or email:- MOSOVOWest@Lancashire.Police.UK.

If seen, do not approach, contact Police as soon as possible.
