Located in the City’s iconic North Western Hall, next to Lime Street train station, the hotel opened to the public in December 2022, marking the brand’s first site in the north of England.

The Grade II-listed building, which was originally designed by local architect Alfred Waterhouse in 1871, has undergone a massive renovation project, with a number of its original features being preserved and restored, including a 19th Century stained glass window, along with a grand sandstone staircase.

Initially opened as a British railway hotel due to its direct connection with Liverpool Lime Street train station, it has now been brought back to its original purpose.

This week’s event paid tribute to the building’s rich heritage and affinity to the City, with 1920s-themed dancers entertaining guests and a special tribute performance to The Beatles.

DJs including local favourites Anton Powers, Sie Austin and Tommy Mc all took to the decks throughout the evening, while Liverpool singer and InDemand Radio presenter Marc Kenny also performed.

Guests were also given the opportunity to sample dishes from the hotel’s modern barbecue and robata grill restaurant, Stoke, with favourites such as Stoke sticky fried chicken and Tempura squid being served, complemented with locally inspired signature cocktails.
