SOUTHPORT is preparing for a lively weekend of beer, bratwurst and Bavarian entertainment as Oktoberfest returns to Victoria Park in grand fashion. The popular event will take place in a huge luxury marquee over 3 sessions on:- Friday, 24 October and Saturday, 25 October 2025, promising plenty of fun, flavour, and festive spirit.

Organised by Elite Events, the festival will feature the famous Bavarian Stompers oompah band, live DJs, and a packed programme of entertainment. Visitors can look forward to traditional German food, music and a range of authentic Bavarian beers served in classic 2-pint steins.

Southport Oktoberfest organiser and Elite Events owner Mark Dilley said:- “Our plans for Southport Oktoberfest are going extremely well! Tickets have been selling fast. This is going to be the biggest and best Oktoberfest that has ever been seen in Southport!"

He explained that the event would be a non-stop party filled with live music, competitions, and plenty of surprises along the way.

The Bavarian Stompers, 1 of the UK’s leading oompah bands, will perform at each session. When they’re not on stage, a DJ will keep the party atmosphere going, with Kam from Beer Guide Worldwide hosting throughout the weekend.

Beer lovers will be spoiled for choice thanks to ABK Brewery, a Munich-based company with a 700-year brewing history. Four types of beer will be available – Hell, Weissbier, Pilsner and Dunkel – alongside gluten-free and alcohol-free options.

1 of the festival’s highlights will be the chance to win a year’s supply of ABK beer. Every ticket holder will be entered into a prize draw, with 365 bottles up for grabs. The winner will be announced on Saturday night in front of a “beer throne” display on stage.

Of course, no Oktoberfest would be complete without great food. Guests can tuck into bratwurst and currywurst sausages made by local butcher Chris Stead, owner of The Southport Meat Company. Stead recently earned 2nd place in the UK National Sausage Championships, so festival-goers can expect top-quality fare.

The event will take place inside the same fully heated, seated and carpeted marquee currently hosting the Southport Comedy Festival. It will be transformed with long trestle tables, benches, German flags, bunting and festive lighting to create a true Bavarian atmosphere.

Fancy dress is encouraged, and the organisers are already expecting groups of friends, birthday parties and even a wedding celebration, with the stag party attending on Friday night and the hen party on Saturday.

There are 3 sessions to choose from:-

  • Friday, 24 October 2025:- 6pm–10pm
  • Saturday, 25 October 2025:- 1pm–5pm
  • Saturday, 25 October 2025:- 6pm–10pm

With its mix of live music, traditional food, and a buzzing atmosphere, Southport Oktoberfest 2025 is shaping up to be a weekend to remember.
