AN incident happened on 23 June 2014, at around 5 pm, in Formby Village, on Chapel Lane roundabout, resulting in a multi-service response including an Air Ambulance.
Merseyside Police have said that the male diver of a gray diesel Honda Civic was driven across the roundabout before colliding with railings after the diver had a suspected medical episode at the wheel. We are told that the male driver, who is said to be in his 40s, was taken to the Hospital where his condition has been described as:- "serious."
We are told that a female front-seat passenger, in her 30s, is reported to have sustained a leg injury and has been taken to the Hospital for treatment. Her condition is said to be:- "stable."
Merseyside Police have confirmed that:- "No other vehicles were involved."
