HELP the environment and support local charity Queenscourt Hospice in the process, as a team of volunteers will be out and about collecting your Christmas Trees between:- Friday, 9 January 2026 to Sunday, 11 January 2026.

By participating in the Queenscourt Hospice Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling Service, you will be helping to make a huge difference! Last year, the Hospice collected over 1,700 trees and raised over £26,000. All the Real Christmas Trees that are collected by the wonderful volunteers, who all donate their time, vehicles, and petrol, are then dropped off at one of our chipping sites. The chipped trees are then repurposed for:- biofuel, natural habitats for animals, safer ground for children in local parks, and various other environmentally friendly and sustainable projects.

This year, they aim to raise even more to help Team Queenscourt continue providing exceptional, compassionate care for local people with life limiting illnesses when they need us most.

Suggested Donations and Impact:-
  • £11 – Provides Bath Towels for our patients on the In-patient Unit.

  • £22 – Contributes towards a home cooked meal for patients on our In Patient Unit.

  • £33 – Helps provide specialist books for children going through bereavement.

  • £55 – Supports a Physiotherapy Session to help ease discomfort.

  • £125 – Could contribute towards the cost of a Nurse's shift on our In Patient Unit.
