2 confirmed VIP's to attend the 104th Ainsdale Show in July
BOTH sporting personality Sam Porreh Jalloh and the new Miss Liverpool, Paige Loren Cannon, are confirmed to be heading to the 104th Ainsdale Show on:- 4 July 2026.
This annual show is now the oldest flower show on Merseyside, and it incorporates horticultural and floral exhibitions, along with craft and art displays. It also has lots of other amazing attractions, like live arena entertainment and a fun fair.
The highly anticipated event also features on:- Friday evening, a Children's Pet Show, and on:- Sunday, a live music event running throughout the day.
Its location, on the- Ainsdale Village Green, is on the main Southport to Liverpool (A565) road. As a result, it has fantastic access to bus connections to Liverpool and Preston. Plus, it's within an easy walking distance of Ainsdale's Merseyrail Station.
Ex-International Tennis Player Sam Porreh Jalloh, who is now a highly acclaimed international tennis coach. Sam gained international attention, not only in the world of tennis but also for being a survivor of the Sierra Leone Civil War, which changed his life. Sam is the author of the book How Tennis Saved My Life and is a recipient of the 2020 BBC Inspirations Award.

Jalloh is also a TEDx Speaker and frequently hosts tennis skills events and talks in the Southport area, such as at the:- Southport Flower Show and The Atkinson Theatre.
Sam is hosting the book launch of his 3rd book with a storytelling show on:- Friday, 10 July 2026, at The Atkinson Theatre, in Southport. This event in Southport is being filmed for a new project that has yet to be announced.

This year the event will also see Miss Liverpool, Paige Loren Cannon, attending. Page is looking forward to the event and helping to promote it. Interestingly, last year the previous Miss Liverpool City Region, Charlotte Grant, attended for the second time, as Miss England. Let's hope this will be the same for Paige. Paige, is dyslexic and she hopes to help inspire other young women to go for their dreams. Paige got through to the Miss England finals for the second time, competing without makeup, saying:- "believe in your natural self to succeed." She is now heavily involved with numerous charities.
