SEFTON Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board is proud to champion National Safeguarding Adults Week, taking place from today, Monday 17 November to Friday, 21 November 2025.
This dedicated week of action aims to raise awareness, share best practices, and foster collaboration to prevent abuse before it happens.
Each day of the week will spotlight a different theme, offering a series of free online sessions designed to inform, empower, and inspire professionals and people in Sefton’s community. From tackling hoarding behaviours to exploring the complexities of criminal exploitation and honour-based abuse, the programme is packed with opportunities to learn and engage.
Join the conversation to create safer, more supportive environments for vulnerable people across Sefton.
All events will be presented and hosted by a range of organisations, including local authorities, Merseyside Police, and the Ann Craft Trust, among others.
Several sessions will be delivered by Sefton’s Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board in partnership with Sefton Council. These include:-
